Judes scored in the first 5 minutes good hands saw Calum kneafcy shoot in in the corner and Danny Cassidy kicked the goal from the touch line 6-0
Danny Cassidy chased a neat kick through the defensive line to score a well worked try on 15 minutes 10-0
Good pressure from clock lead to a try of there own ,, converted 10-6
Judes Jacob Dugdale scored a typical hookers try to extend the lead 14 -6
Clock had the best of the last 10 minutes of the half and scored 2 coverted try’s to lead at halftime 14-18
On 47 mins Lewis melling finished well to level up at 18-18
On 61 minutes clock scored under the sticks to regain the lead 18-24
With 4 minutes to go trailing by 6 clock looked to have won the game but max Dudley had other ideas he hit a line ball and took 3 defenders over to score a brilliant try goaled by Danny Fallon 24-24 it looked like a draw but with last play of the game josh Rogerson off loaded with 3 men in tackle to the supporting Dave Fagan who dived over to win the game, for Jude’s , Danny fallon slotted over 30-24
Supurb game of rugby from both sides played in the right spirit

Judes never stopped the effort was there to see with high completion rate but we couldn’t break the Heworth defence enough to get close to them and put them under pressure

St Jude’s A team took on Newton Storm in the NWML Shield Cup final, but weren’t quite good enough on the day going down 36-18 to a very strong Newton side.
Logan Johnson opened the scoring for st Jude’s and saw them take an early lead with little over 3 mins on the clock. However, Newton hit back soon after with unanswered tries and took a 16-6 lead into the break.
The second half saw St Jude’s get back in the game with a try from Rio Roberts. 12-16
Newton then enjoyed a period of domination and took the game away from st Jude’s with 3 further tries 12-30.
A Lewis Belshaw try in the 64 minute gave st Jude’s a glimmer of hope, but a late Newton try put the game to bed and saw Newton win the final 18-36.
A fantastic effort from St Jude’s who did themselves and the club proud.
