Thursday, 16 March 20231st TeamWaterheadHome16-32The 1st team lost at home against a very good waterhead team , Jude’s opened the scoring after 5 minutes, Joey Brady bust down the right edge running 40 m before delivering a great pass to the supporting Reece Mathews who raced in for a great try 4-0
Waterhead scored a converted try on 13 minutes to take the lead 4-6, Jude’s pressed hard for next 10 minutes but couldn’t break down a resilient defence
On 23 minutes waterhead we’re in again this time a 8 point try and a Jude’s sin bin to lead 4-14 at halftime
1st set of the 2nd half , waterhead scored a coverted try ,a shocking bounce pass , lucky bounce, 4-20
Judes scored next to close the gap a try from cal Silcock converted by Danny Fallon 10-20, Jude’s were now playing there best rugby , but it was waterhead who kicked a penalty 10-22 , then 3 minutes later another try 10-26

Conner Parkinson scored a brilliant solo try from 40m out again converted by Danny Fallon 16-26
Jude’s had another player in the bin on 70 minutes and waterhead took full advantage to score another converted try to complete the scoring 16-32
Player of the match went to Reece Stanton

Saturday, 18 March 2023A TeamOldham St AnnesHome6-20Wigan St Jude’s NWML side suffered a 6-20 defeat at the hands of a very strong Oldham St Annes side in their Alliance league clash at Parsons Meadow.
Logan Johnson’s try was one of few highlights for the home side.
Man of the match Jason Holland was outstanding, whilst Nathan Moore, Tom Hillyer, & Darryl King also went well.
