As games go I can honestly say the first half was as good as it's gets  for St Jude's who's total domination and execution was there for all to see as they ran in  30 unanswered points in a blistering performance well led by the boot of Rob Collier who cleverly used the conditions to his advantage with two 40/20s and 5 goals in the game were any mistakes by Drighlington were well punished by Jude's to win 31-22. On 7 mins lively Hooker Nathan Bevan spotted a gap which set up field position for scrum half Baz Rothwell to sneak in by the posts ,Rob Collier goaled. The early exchanges by Jude's did look good  and Nathan Jones who had plenty to do with Drighlingtons early pressure was solid and when needed Oladele Oladele, Luke Barrett and Man of the Match Gavin Rodden  had lots of go forward to keep Drighlington on their toes. Backs Baz Rothwell and Rob Collier were working well and every opportunity they had they would ship the ball wide. On 25 mins  hardworking prop Luke Barrett hit the line of a short pass and broke free and went on a 40 meter surging run to set up field position for quick hands from Baz Rothwell and Rob Collier to Gavin Rodden who put in a neat flick pass to winger Joey Brady who scored wide out and the reliable Rob Collier slotted over the two under very windy conditions. Minutes later Rob Collier was heavily involved in Judes next score when he intercepted a loose pass from a Drighlington attack to set up field position for Gavin Rodden to score a great try, once again the Boot of Rob Collier was in action  two to give Jude's a 18-0 nil lead . A Drighlington penalty was punished when hard working Paul Pendlebury hit the line hard to feed loose forward Dave Fagan who wasn't going to be stopped from close range, once again the reliable Rob Collier slotted over the two points. In the closing mins of the first half another Quick attack by St Jude's saw Baz Rothwell and Paul Pendlebury find Strong running centre Connor Parkinson who put Winger Daz Ball away to score a great try, the reliable boot of Collier did the rest for a 30-0 half time lead. Forwards Paul Pendlebury, Nathan Bevan , Olumide Oladele , Luke Barrett and Dave Fagan were outstanding in all departments  and Connor Parkinson,(who twice saved two certain tries when Drighlington were slowly getting back in the game). The second half was a complete different story, the only points was a drop goal by Collier and a change like you've never seen when Drighlington totally changed and Judes were always on the back foot and Drighlington slowly getting back in the game, but you sensed that hopefully time would be against them and Judes first half was enough to get this excellent win away were not many teams would come here and score 30 points.
